Delete your Magic Friends account

You can ask us to delete your Magic Friends account and its associated data at any time. You do not need the app installed to make this request, and there is no charge.

Request deletion

Send us a deletion request from the email address on the account. We will confirm your identity as the account holder before deleting anything.

Email a deletion request

Or write to team@magicfriends.com with the subject “Account deletion request” and include the email address used for the account.

What happens next

  1. You send the request. Use the button above, or email us directly from the account’s email address.
  2. We verify the account. We check that the request comes from the parent or guardian who owns the account. We may reply to confirm details.
  3. We delete the account. We action verified requests and respond within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

  • Your parent/guardian account and login credentials
  • Your email address and any account preferences or parental control settings
  • Subscription status and entitlement records linked to your account
  • Purchase records linked to your account, including order IDs for in-app asset purchases

What is not stored on our servers

Child profiles — nicknames, avatars, preferences — and content your child creates in the app are stored only on the device and are never transmitted to our servers. Deleting the app from the device removes them. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Before you delete

Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your Magic Friends account does not cancel an active subscription — Apple and Google handle billing, so subscriptions must be cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your account also permanently removes access to any digital assets purchased through it.

Records of transactions held by Apple or Google are governed by their own policies and retention periods, and we cannot delete them on your behalf. We may also retain limited records where we are required to do so by law.

  • Just want your data? You can request a copy of the data we hold, or ask us to correct it — email team@magicfriends.com.
  • Just want to stop using the app? Uninstalling removes all on-device profiles and creations without deleting your account.
