What is Magic Friends?
Magic Friends is an AI-powered creativity app for children ages 4–10. Kids explore themed activity rooms — drawing, building characters, cooking up space recipes, telling stories, and coloring — alongside Cosmo and the Cosmic Crew, a cast of friendly companions who encourage them as they create.
What ages is it designed for?
Magic Friends is designed for children ages 4 to 10. It is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store and “Rated for 3+” on Google Play.
How much does it cost?
The app is free to download on iOS and Android. Optional in-app purchases include a premium membership (weekly, monthly, or yearly) and printed collectible card sets. All purchases sit behind a parental gate.
How does Magic Friends use AI?
AI powers the creative activities: it helps turn your child's ideas into characters, stories, animations, and collectible cards, and lets companions react warmly to what your child makes. Companions operate inside structured, child-friendly activities designed for young children.
What are the collectible cards?
Characters your child creates become unique collectible cards in an in-app collection. Completing a set of nine alien cards unlocks the option to order a printed card set as a physical keepsake — an optional in-app purchase behind the parental gate. Availability is shown at checkout in the app.
What parental controls are there?
Settings, purchases, and account actions are protected by a parental gate — a challenge designed so young children can't get through on their own. Setup and personalization are parent-guided, and separate profiles keep each child's creations their own.
What languages are supported?
Magic Friends is currently available in English and German. You choose the language during setup.
What devices does it work on?
Magic Friends is available for iPhone and iPad (iOS 15 or later, and Apple silicon Macs) and Android devices via Google Play.
