Parents & Safety

You're the co-pilot. Always.

Magic Friends is built for children ages 4–10 — and for the parents who want technology to be something you shape together, not something that happens to your family.

Our approach

Age-appropriate by design

Every activity is designed for young children: simple controls, friendly characters, and no time pressure. Magic Friends is rated 4+ on the App Store and “Rated for 3+” on Google Play, and is part of Google Play's Teacher Approved program.

A real parental gate

Settings, purchases, and account actions sit behind a grown-ups-only challenge — a quick math question that small children can't guess their way past. Kids stay in the play space; you hold the keys.

Thoughtful use of AI

AI in Magic Friends powers creation: turning your child's ideas into buddies, stories, animations, and cards. Companions stay inside structured, child-friendly activities. They encourage, react, and celebrate — they don't wander off-script.

You set things up together

Onboarding is parent-guided. You choose the language, confirm you're a grown-up, and fill in the personal touches — a favorite color, a best friend's name — that make the experience feel like your child's own.

Screen time with an ending

Activities are built around finishing something — a drawing, a story, a card. There are no endless feeds and no autoplay rabbit holes. A session has a natural “ta-da!” moment, which makes it easier to put the tablet down.

Privacy, taken seriously

We believe a children's app should ask for as little as possible. You can request deletion of your family's data at any time. For the complete, authoritative description of our data practices, please read the Privacy Policy and the privacy sections of our App Store and Google Play listings.

What you'll see, before they do

Language selection, parent-guided personalization, and the parental gate — the first three screens belong to you.

Our honest take on screens

We don't think more screen time is the goal — better screen time is. Magic Friends is built on a simple belief: if a child is going to spend twenty minutes with a device, they should end those minutes with something they made, a word they learned, or a story they can't wait to tell you.

That's also why creations leave the screen. Drawings become animations you watch together. Characters become printed cards you can hold. The app is designed to hand moments back to the family, not to keep them for itself.
